Everyone stay calm, its finally happened!!!! The HUGELY anticipated third book in the Crescent City Series is out now! The latest book from the outstanding Sarah J Maas, "House of Flame and Shadow" has gripped booktok and beyond, and flown up the bestseller chart in its first few weeks of release - and I am so exited!

The hype really is real for this book, and after the huge popularity of the ACOTAR series and the rise in the love of "romantasy" in readers has seen everyone grab this book with both hands - especially after the cliff-hanger of all cliff-hangers at the end of the last book in the series. After waiting 2 years, we can finally sink our teeth into the final chapter of Bryce and Hunt's story (for now... never say never about a fourth book!)

Thanks to the help of TikTok, the release of this book has become a cultural moment. Crowds of readers gathered at book shops, with some running midnight publication parties and even SJM herself making an appearance at a few in New York. Selling 44, 761 copies in its first week, House of Flame and Shadow is the third fasted selling science fiction and fantasy title since records began - only narrowly missing out behind Terry Pratchett's Snuff.

So its safe to say, this excitement around this book is palpable, and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it (no spoilers please I haven't had the chance to start devouring it yet!)

I picked these tights to represent the House of Earth and Blood itself within the story, who's members are "shifters, humans, witches, ordinary animals..." so Familiar seemed the perfect choice

Crescent City: House of Sky and Breath - Blue Hawaiian

Members of this house are fae, elementals, and sprites amongst other things, and these tights remind me of how air just dances in front of you sometimes, especially when you can see your breath in the cold. Plus they're a beautiful blue that I wish the sky would be all the time.

Crescent City: House of Flame and Shadow

Dragons are included in the members of this house within Crescent City, so our Green Dragon tights with sparkling scales seemed a natural choice!

A Court of Thorns and Roses - Thorns and Roses

How could I pick any other pair of tights for this book than the OG inspired design itself?! Thorns and Roses, the most gorgeous pair of fishnets!

Possibly the most iconic quote from the whole series came from this book: "To the stars who listen, and the dreams that are answered" - so of course I had to pick our gorgeous starry sky print tights.

Our Chain mail are the perfect tights for a book with such epic battle scenes - they're the only armour you need while you're tearing through the pages.

Again, this one feels like a cop out - but how could I not pick the pair of tights who's name was inspired by this book? Besides, they're super cute, super wearable and I just love them!

This one is probably a bit out there, but I feel like Nesta would totally wear these tights - she's a badass after all! Bust still with that little bit of spice for all those very hot and bothered scenes...
