Tights have been made the same way for decades, until now. We are so excited to show you the newest tights tech, castor oil. Yes, the same castor oil used in hair and skin care. After years of development, castor oil can now be used as the foundation in plant based, sustainable fibre and this is what we have used to create the Yarn in these tights, we are calling it bio-nylon.
Imagine being able to bring farming to communities in India where traditional farming isn't viable. To create jobs, while increasing industry and income. That's why castor beans, that are used to make the oil, are awesome. They can be grown in really arid climates and areas where nothing else can grow. This supports sustainable farming, creating jobs and opportunities, while not invading green space or destroying the environment. They are 80 denier and for now in classic black. A stunning vegan bio-nylon, they are stretchy, so silky and soft and really durable. Care: Wash your Snags before wearing them for the first time, this ensures no residual dye remains on them. Wash your tights with similar colours as they may run in the wash. Tights and shorts can get caught in the drum of a washing machine, so hand wash or place them inside a pillow case or lingerie bag to protect them. Squeeze dry, don’t tumble dry, and avoid direct heat as it degrades the stretch.
