For the most accurate measurement, ditch the clothes and measure in your comfiest underwear.
Keep the measuring tape loose and comfy. Don't dig into your skin, we want those clothes to fit with room to breathe.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back and under your arms.
Waist
Measure the narrowest part of your waistline, usually an inch or two above your belly button.
Hips
Stand with your feet together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum.

EEEEE POCKETS!!! Sorry...I love this dress.
I'm very pleased with this dress! The material is lovely, nice and thick, and the pattern is brilliant. The pockets are deep but don't interfere with the cut, and the tie to cinch in the waist is a good length. I'm going to buy a 2nd dress in a smaller size as while the 12-14 fits me pretty well, it could be tighter.
